Chesterton's new DualPac​®​​ Tech​nology combines the benefits of PTFE and Aramid fibers to create an entirely new level of packing reliability. Individually these fibers have their drawbacks, but together they offer advanced levels of performance:

  • The low friction and high sealability of PTFE without the consolidation and extrusion
  • The strength​ and resiliency of aramids without the shaft wear
  • Fewer gland adjustments translates to longer life

New!  DualPac 2212 - High-Pressure, Burn Resistant, Multi-Purpose Packing

DualPac 2212​ is the second Chesterton packing using DualPac Technology.  This non-staining packing combines an inner, burn-resistant material with a highly resilient outer fiber. The end result is a braided packing with a quicker break-in period​ and longer reliability. 

DualPac® 2212 holds up in strong, abrasive sealing applications and resists instant failure in the event of pressure surges.​
