Chesterton’s 421 Clear Protective Coating (CPC) is an impermeable, flexible plastic coating that protects surfaces against air, water, oils, chemicals and corrosion. The product deposits a transparent barrier to water, moisture, salt air, mild chemicals, industrial fumes, gasoline etc. up to 80°C (175°F).

421 CPC goes on clear and stays clear so it does not obscure materials, colors or printing. The high gloss formula guards against handling, fingerprinting, oxidation, corrosion and wear of surfaces. The product provides instant touch-up protection for scratches and scrapes of painted metals. It is excellent for protecting metal areas bared during maintenance work or by accidents until complete recoating can be done.

Typical Applications include metal machinery, tools, paper signs, documents,drawings, connectors, electrical assemblies, electronic circuit boards, motor windings, etc.
