Chesterton’s 396 Lubricity Additive is a water soluble complex of a lubricating polymer designed to provide added lubricity in synthetic and semi-synthetic metal working fluids.

Added directly to the sump, it provides the added hydrodynamic lubrication that is sometimes desirable when machining draggy metals such as aluminum or in very fine threading operations where an extremely smooth finish is desired.
