Chesterton’s 3500 Valvelon® is a dense, pure PTFE sealant that can be used as a non-hardening valve packing or flange gasket. Its unique multilayered structure construction allows it to squeeze in all directions to fill voids and conform to surfaces in valves or flanges. It will not extrude under pressures of up to 35kg/cm² (497 psi).

Valvelon can withstand a wide range of temperatures and be utilized with virtually all chemicals. It is non-hardening and will remain permanently pliable. Valvelon contains no surface lubricants or chemical fillers and has an unlimited shelf life.
