Chesterton’s 338 Super Rust Remover is an outstanding acid based rust removal and conditioning system for all materials subject to oxide formation including ferrous metals, aluminum, copper, stainless steel and zinc.

338 Super Rust Remover creeps under and strips rust and corrosion from parts and equipment without damaging the base metal. It leaves a fine rust inhibiting film on the surface to prevent further flash rusting. It penetrates and removes rust from the interior of parts that cannot be reached by mechanical methods

Chesterton 338 Super Rust Remover is found throughout industry in maintenance shops and stockrooms. It is often found next to solvent wash stations and used as part of a complete metal cleaning and restoration system.

Typical applications include the removal of rust from nuts and bolts, bearings, pump housings, valve interiors and exteriors, gears, shafts - virtually any metal part where mechanical removal of rust is impractical or could damage the surface.
