Chesterton’s 273 Electric Motor Cleaner is a nonflammable, nonconductive and noncorrosive solvent based degreaser. It can be used on operating equipment up to 240 volts and electrical systems without fire hazard concerns.

273 Electric Motor Cleaner removes conductive soils that could otherwise cause dangerous electrical short circuits. The product instantly cuts through power-robbing grease, dirt, grime, tar, oil and other materials usually found around electrical equipment, machine shops, manufacturing plants, marine electrical instrumentation and automotive applications.

Applied at regular intervals together with routine inspection and periodic maintenance, 273 Electric Motor Cleaner will assure continued, high output and prolong the life of electrical equipment (electric motors, blowers, fans, hoists, switches, transformers, control panels, etc.)
