Chesterton’s CMS 2000 Pump Sealant is an injectable sealant that clings to the shaft and seals virtually leak free. Internal Laminar Shear prevents frictional wear of shaft and sleeve. Equipment is protected from the aggressive fretting common with conventional packings.
CMS 2000 Pump Sealants create an endless composite ring, custom formed to the irregularities of the stuffing box and shaft or sleeve. There are no leak paths and flush is eliminated.
CMS 2000 Sealants can virtually stop leakage while saving money on eliminating flush water, sleeve replacement, and conventional packing inventory to fit various pump sizes.
Typical applications include black and white stock pumps, white water pumps, river water pumps, condensate pumps, water treatment pumps, etc.*
