Chesterton’s 477-1 is a pump and valve carbon fiber packing. It combines a new yarn formulation with superior blocking agents.The interbraid construction locks in the blocking agents within the packing ring which prevents penetration of gases or liquid through the packing.

Typical applications include virtually all pumps and valves against most solvents, gases and other liquids.
