Chesterton’s 329 Stern-Lon^® Packing is square plait braided to provide an unusually flexible, formable packing. It is the most recognized product for the marine indusrty in stern tubes.

Ideal for stern tubes, rudder posts, shaft bulkhead glands, and cold water;in the Pulp and Paper industry on Jordans, claflins, and hydro-finers.

• Impregnated with concentrated PTFE dispersion promotes non-flowing lubricity and retards degradation
• Uses a plasticizing "break-in" lubricant which assures compressibility, flexibility, and good packing-to-shaft contact
• Conformable so large sizes, need not be hammered into place
• Graphite free to avoid galvanic corrosion on shafts
