Chesterton’s 328 is a chemical packing completely inert to all materials except molten alkai metals. It is capable of handling high shaft speeds because of the inclusion of Chesterton’s exclusive blocking agent.

328 fibers have been preshrunk and braided in our interbraid construction to give greater dimensional stability at elevated temperatures. Shaft scoring is virtually eliminated with the development of this soft PTFE form.
