Chesterton’s 1724 SUPER-LON® is the interbraided super packing guaranteed for the life of the valve.
Chesterton’s 1724 Super-Lon is a special pure PTFE packing. You can’t squeeze out the lubricants and it won’t harden or deteriorate in a wide range of services including steam up to 260°C (500°F). Its the valve packing of choice for sealing all severe chemicals and solvents.
Typical applications include valves handling steam, severe chemicals and solvents.
Conventional valve packings just don’t last, so why use them? If 1724 SUPER-LON does not outlast the valve it’s in, we will replace the packing FREE. No other packing is similarly guaranteed.
