Chesterton’s 8K Super Parachute is a stacked V-Ring set for Hydraulic/Pnuematic applications. Unlike conventional stacked seals, 8K’s make contact through the center of each ring to ensure even loading, longer sealing life and with minimal gland pressure. No re-adjustment is needed after installation.
  • Flared, pressure sensitive lips allowing sealing forces to be reactive to pressure.
  • Even stack load enables faster cycling with less friction and optimum sealing force.
  • Delivered as split components for ease of installation.
  • Available in spiral coils (continuous length of seal).
  • AWC 800 95A Super Polymer is proven to be the best sealing material in the majority of applications.
  • Other materials are available to meet specific requirements.
  • All seals are furnished split unless otherwise specified.
