Chesterton’s ARC MX5 is chosen over other ARC Composites for abrasion when a rapid cure, emergency repair is needed. A rapid-cure version of ARC 897, it is ideal for quick repair of worn areas.

ARC MX5 is formulated with a high concentration of small ceramic beads and particles for extremely abrasive environments. It can be used either to rebuild eroded metal surfaces or to provide a wear resistant, sacrificial surface which frequently outperforms the original metal, rubber liners, ceramic tiles or weld overlay. .
