Chesterton’s ARC 890 is a highly reinforced, beaded-ceramic composite for areas subjected to severe abrasive environments.

Ideal for applications where abrasion-resistant alloys, ceramic alloys, ceramic tiles or rubber liners are traditionally used for repair. Applications include slurry pumps, dry particle abrasion, and wear plates.

It can be used either to rebuild eroded metal surfaces or to provide a wear resistant surface, which frequently outperforms the original metal, weld overlay, rubber liners or ceramic tiles. For a finer beaded version use ARC 897.
