Fluid Sealed: Coal coke, up to 6 mm (1/4”) particle size

Problem: Media: Coal coke, up to 6 mm (1/4”) particle size, ambient temperature. A fuel line transporting coke was wearing out within 2 weeks. An abrasion resistant lining from Corrocoat was applied but this only increased the operating life to 4 weeks.

Solution: ARC MX1 was used to protect the line at 6 mm (1/4”) thickness.

Results: Since the application of ARC MX1 the nozzle has been in service for over 15 weeks with little wear. The success of this application has led to many other applications with this customer. Savings was in excess of $10,000.
