Debarking


Debarking Process: Bark is not a desirable wood component in the pulp process.  Bark must be removed to insure the pulp is free of un-digestible, non-fibrous wood materials, dirt, grit and miscellaneous debris.  Several types of mechanical debarkers are in use.
