A.W. Chesterton Company is playing a leading role in efforts to build an educational community around the ever-changing world of fugitive emissions regulations and control. The result is the inaugural
Fugitive Emissions Summit Americas to be held on June 13-14, 2016, in Houston, Texas.
To address the issues faced in Asia,
Fugitive Emissions Summit China will be held in Shanghai, China, on September 20-21, 2016.
Bringing Together Key Players
Both conferences aim to bring together parties who are impacted by or who are influential in the reduction of fugitive emissions reduction efforts across all market sectors (ie: downstream, midstream & upstream) – including end users, EPCs, distributors, manufacturers, and suppliers.
Rodney Roth, Manager of Strategic Accounts/Stationary Equipment for A.W. Chesterton Company, is chairman of
Fugitive Emissions Summit Americas and one of the world’s foremost experts on valve sealing technology and LDAR consent decrees.
“This is an unparalleled opportunity for all parties impacted by fugitive emissions regulations and control to learn, share best practices, and address challenges,” says Roth.
“Our goal is to help industrial facilities and their employees gain expertise, share valuable insights, and succeed with the development of the LDAR programs they manage and with consent decree compliance efforts.”
Chesterton Subject Matter Experts
In addition to Roth's expertise, Chesterton’s Ron Frisard,
Field Product Manager – Stationary Sealing, will conduct a short course on
Valve Installation: Best Practices for Fugitive Emission Service. This training will focus on identifying best practices in regards to valve packing installation as outlined by the Fluid Sealing Association.
Other Chesterton presenters at the sessions include: Philip Mahoney Jr., Design Engineering Manager, Vance St. Jean, Senior Stationary Equipment Sealing Specialist, and Foster Voelker, Project Manager – Stationary Equipment.
